Stop spread of Rock Snot algae!

Invasive algae didymo is in the Connecticut and Mohawk Rivers of NH and the White River in VT. This is nasty stuff that will smother insect life and ruin fish habitat.

NH Rivers Guide Service follows approved protocols to stop spread of didymo.  If you have fished in infected rivers, before fishing with us we will help you disinfect your gear.

Do your part:

Check - your gear for didymo

Clean - with strong detergent or bleach

Dry - for two days to kill didymo

Don't use felt-sole waders in infected waters!

Check these links for specific info about didymo and what YOU can do to halt its spread.
