The goal of New Hampshire Rivers Guides is to deliver a memorable experience. Our rates are low and our quality is high. (Check our references and client feedback!) All trips include snacks and bottled water.  At no extra charge we provide all flies, tippets, loaner waders, rods, etc.  We are also different from many other NH fishing guides in that we are not only licensed, but insured. We are also one of the very few guide services with special use permits that enable us to guide you in both the White Mountain National Forest and New Hampshire State Parks. Following are our standard packages and rates.  Rates do not include license or gratuity.

Note: You get great fishing, expert instruction and loads of fun - a great value!

Drift-boat Trips

Full day for 1 or 2 people
Half-day for 1 or 2 people

Wading Trips (including canoe for pond trips)

Full day for 1 or 2 people
Half day for 1 or 2 people

Each additional person

(Consider this when comparing rates: We do not charge extra for flies or tippet. We do not charge for use of our rods, waders or other gear. We don't "nickel and dime" you!)

A 50% deposit by check or Venmo is required to book your trip.  Your deposit is returned if cancellation is more than 30 days before a trip or if date of trip gets booked with another client, otherwise you forfeit the deposit. We fish rain or shine. We may cancel a trip on the rare occasion that in our judgement unsafe river or weather conditions occur. When this happens we will attempt to reschedule to a mutually agreeable date, or refund your deposit. Payment of balance is made on day of trip in cash, Venmo, or personal check. We do not accept credit cards.

Most trips can be structured to accommodate your schedule and your level of experience. We supply rods, tippet, and flies, or use your own equipment, if you wish. If you need to borrow waders or rain gear, let us know and we can arrange for a free loaner.

Fly Fishing Lessons and Hourly Instruction

Private Fly Fishing Lesson Rates are the same as Wading Guided trips

Our guides are:

  1. Licensed by the State of NH - To meet this standard they must pass an examination and maintain current CPR and First Aid certification; submit to criminal background check; remain free of law violations; register annually with NH Fish and Game Department.
  2. Members of the NH Guides Association - As members they must adhere to a professional code of ethical conduct and submit to peer review of professional standards.
  3. Insured - Our guides carry liability insurance, assuring that they protect clients through adherence to safety procedures and professional conduct.
  4. Legally permitted - We hold special use permits to guide in the White Mountain National Forest, NH State Parks, and the Lake Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge.

When you reserve a trip with a guide in New Hampshire, make sure they adhere to these same standards!
